Subject: [Leica] Riddle me this - SF-24D vs. Frankenfinder

Why does the $300, relatively non-fragile SF-24D have a pin-locking  
foot for connection to the camera, yet the $800, easily broken,  
difficult-to-tighten-on Universal Wideangle Finder M does not?
