I was very pleased to get the albatross landing after missing about 5 first attempts, before realizing that they were all landing at the same spot, so I could "pre-focus" and wait. Wildlife photography is a combination of luck and readiness. Sometimes it seems to me the equipment helps, but its like anything: patience practice and luck Thanks for looking Cheers and merry christmas Alastair --- tedgrant@shaw.ca wrote: From: "Ted Grant" <tedgrant@shaw.ca> To: "'Leica Users Group'" <lug@leica-users.org> Subject: RE: [Leica] Antarctica 2008 Date: Tue, 16 Dec 2008 19:34:25 -0800 Hi Helen and Alastair, A wonderful set of photographs a fine cross section of Antarctica wild life. I was going to give my favourites but it's much easier to say I like them all very much. It's primarily the cross section that makes the series so interesting.
