It focuses just fine but I find it confusing in the heat of shooting to have the 75 framelines as brackets inside the 50 frames so I don't use it very much. Great little lens though and terrific value for money in the world of Leica costs. Cheers Howard PS: Enjoy your cards series in the NY Times very much - keep 'em coming. > Date: Sat, 13 Dec 2008 00:42:36 -0500 > From: Mark Rabiner <mark@rabinergroup.com> > Subject: Re: [Leica] M8 upgrade - 90 Cron APO focusing problems > To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > > Maybe get a 75 instead? > If I had an M8 I'd "trade in" my 90 for a > 75mm f/2.0 APO Summicron M Aspherical Manual Focus Lens (6-Bit, > Updated for > Digital) > > 75 * 1.33 = 99.75 > > I'm be tempted to think of it as my 100mm lens. > > As that's TOO round a number to forget. > It would make you want to use it more. > > > ...
