This is what is really disappointing about Leica. The products are
great, but everything around it, i.e. marketing, customer service
etc., leaves a lot to be desired. This is a case in point: here they
had a coffee table book produced by Leica enthusiasts all over the
world, free to use in their marketing as they wish, and instead they
prefer the mediocre shit you describe (also frequently seen in the
pages of LFI, that is why I cancelled my subscription a few years ago).

Likewise their alleged pre-sales: you may remember a couple of weeks
ago I complained about not getting a response to some M8-related
questions e-mailed to them; well, more than 2 weeks later, still no
response. In the meantime I have received answers from fellow LUGgers,
but that is beside the point. A potential buyer for your flagship
product asks a couple of simple question and the company just ignores
him? Strange sales tactics indeed.

Cheers,
Nathan
