I think that, in Donna's case, it stems from the fact that her father had a portrait studio, and she always saw him photographing women and girls who had their hair and makeup done as close to perfection as possible. The thought of a less-than-perfect portrait does not excite her. Personally, I prefer the informal, unposed ones best.
