Philippe,

I went back and processed the ISO 100 and ISO 1600 full frame images in the 
way I normally handle RAW images, and the two are almost identical.  From a 
practical sense, I feel that, in daylight, the full range of ISOs is usable.

I would agree with you, the ISO 100 image should have more fine detail.
