I think for a plus magnification the Chinese ones might be OK. Not so for the .85 I believe. But if you think those Leica magnifier prices are bad, take a look at the prices for the new external viewfinders. Yikes! I didn't think it was possible to make finders more expensive than the Zeiss ones. I was wrong ;-( Makes the Voigtlanders look attractive. However, the 1.4 costs as much as almost any other manufacturer's SLR 50mm lens.... ! I guess glass is glass at Leica...
