Cheers Geoff http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman/e http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/ Maike Harbets speaks on the S2. .... So we will drop down this technology to our other systems. Our priority is to modernise the R system which will be in the end an R10, definitely. -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Mark Rabiner Sent: Thursday, 30 October 2008 02:11 To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] Re:Mamiya ZD camera..... And we'll be able to buy it as it will be imported into the USA unlike the ZD. The lag is a question. The Hasselblad H series has a real lag. Like 400 dollar point and shoots. Only its 40,000 dollars. A reason to rent the Leica S instead. Superb handling supported by no lag. Its all the same thing. You want to be able to shoot fast; mindlessly; without the camera getting in the way. How many Leica products digital or otherwise even made by Panasonic have lagged? NONE I TELL YOU! Or none that I can recall. They're on that. OK a guy yesterday told me his M5 lagged. I'm not sure I agree. mark@rabinergroup.com Mark William Rabiner > From: Chris Williams <leicachris@worldnet.att.net> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Date: Wed, 29 Oct 2008 10:01:55 -0500 > To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Subject: [Leica] Re:Mamiya ZD camera..... > > DL28 is more appealing. > > http://www.dpreview.com/news/0810/08102102mamiya_dl28.asp > > Chris > NOLA > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Frank Filippone" <red735i@earthlink.net> > To: "'Leica Users Group'" <lug@leica-users.org> > Sent: Wednesday, October 29, 2008 9:14 AM > Subject: [Leica] Mamiya ZD camera..... > > >> I noticed this MF SLR camera system..... >> >> 36x48 sensor ( or with an optional insert, use 120 film) 22MP ISO >> 50-400 >> 1 pound, without lens >> AF lenses >> Price of $10K , with digiback and 80mm lens >> >> Looks like an interesting camera, priced more reasonably than the >> Hasselblad competition..... >> >> Frank Filippone >> red735i@earthlink.net >> >> >> >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
