Cool cloudscape, but don't you have any blow-up Ibis? Been there, done that
on the Mr. Mom thing, BTW. I earned my Superman t-shirt.

>Folks today I have coined a new genre, the casual cloudscape.
>Some may find entertainment in the story of the photo.
>OK, currently I am running our household solo, an occupation for which I am
>eminently unsuited. My wife is somewhere in the wilds of Colorado or at
>least a bar in Denver.
>I picture her sipping a good Sauvignon Blanc while admiring the Rockies.
>Meanwhile I am juggling and crisis managing two children and two Border

>Having managed to facilitate cleaning up velociraptor poop and the bones of

>RATS! I should have my camera with me!
>I have to post pictures! someone will eventually comment, my last two
>picture posts were apparently invisible!
>Wait a minute! It's right there in the car, I DO have it with me!
>No time, no time, hang on, are you kidding me, look at the light!
>Out with the M8. Try not to slip down the wet, steep driveway.
>What lens have I got on? I was shooting with the 75 before? I can make that
>work.
>ISO, OK 320 will work, focus to infinity, aperture F11, let's rock,
>Look at that, a V of ibis are flying into frame, Woohoo!
> why won't the button push!
>What does flashing frame counter mean, the battery had at least half charge
>this morning!
>Look at LCD - Bottom cover missing AAAAGH!
>guess I missed engaging that properly when I took it off before to copy new
>portrait stuff!
>Ibis fly gracefully into the distance while I remove the half case and refit
>the bottom cover properly.
>The last ibis is laughing!
>Cover on, compose carefully, dang that frame for the 75 is hard to identify,
>come BACK you miserable ibis, I can channel Doug Herr and pretend to be a
>competent wildlife photographer!
>hmm, shoot four frames, let's try a little wider lens, my 28 is in Solms,
>put on the 35.
>Hang on! that was my 50! Hmm well those were carefully composed-not!
>All right, light is fading, put on the 35, no time to reset lens detection
>(this one aint 6 bit!), I'll fix it in Photoshop if it is a problem!
>OK clock is ticking, light is fading, time for a couple more frames.
>Aah, continue panic mode and get home for good Belgian beer and import new
>photos in brand new PS CS4. This software is way cool!
>Oh wait I have lost all of the careful configuration and plug-ins in
>previous version!
>Never mind, drink beer and post image for LUG friends.
