It suffers from a nasty lens flare (I discovered this week), the rear screen on the G9 has the wrong polaroid orientation if you happen to wear polaroid glasses, and the myriad of controls and menus isn't as well thought out as it might have been. I'm going to look at the Nikon equivalent since I think there's a new one. But perhaps the G10 is better. I know for use while I'm cycling the G9 sucks and not in a good way.
