Lluis do you mean that the pictures in Elements still look the same once
they are on the web now? That's a very good thing! 
This shot looks fine on my calibrated monitor here.
Now since you have superb cameras and lenses as well as a shiny new
computer, it is time to upgrade to Lightroom or Photoshop as well!
I think that Lightroom2 would be perfect for you.

Hi all,

This is my first posting and test working with the Mac and Photoshop  
Elements 6, on my hard disk at big size look much more nice and  
brilliant. If you choose full size on the web, it looks more similar  
at the original on my HD. On my previous experience I've never saw  
this effect. I would appreciate very much your advice and opinions
