Doug,

I assume the light grey looking feathers at the lower right corner?

A suggestion?  Have a look at coming in on the right side to just eliminate
them and yet still be able to see a very small "white spot" on the birds
upper right back? Right on the top edge of it's shoulder? Doesn't this get
rid of the ruffled feathers and give you a close to 8X10 cropping?
