The lights were swinging across the crowd, and I just happened to get a shot right in the lens. Most of the time the audience was in the dark so I was happy to get something to show that the concert was well-attended. I had all sorts of trouble using the 1D MkII and 30D in the dark and changing conditions - couldn't see to push the correct control buttons, the AF wouldn't lock on to where I wanted to focus, and I couldn't seem to manually get a sharp image. I wished I would've been using a rangefinder camera.
