Well, maybe there's an ordinance about that, though Sarah Palin can probably get you a pass :). Between tornados and ice storms, we do not have one tree remaining from when we bought this place about 30 years ago (except two ugly ones that will never die). Some were soft-wood trees such as Bradford, some were really big old elms. Despite having a really great tree service, they are all deceased. Fortunately, my spouse has continually replanted, three new ones last year.
