Alastair,

There is one other company that sells focus confirmation chips that can be 
added to various lens adapters for Oly 4/3 cameras.  I have a Fotodiox M42 
to 4/3 adapter, and purchased one of their chips and installed it. 
Alignment of the chip with the camera contacts appears to be quite critical. 
I had to remove the chip once, and shift it slightly before I got it to 
work, and it still is not 100% reliable.
