Bob,

Yes they are, but I do not rely on them for accuracy.  However, I have found 
that the entire viewfinder seems pretty accurate for the 21 for most 
shooting.  This works for me as long as I wear my contacts so I can see the 
entire frame.  FOr glasses, that is an entirely different situation.  ;-)
