Fotodiox.com lists a "set" of 5 adapters to adapt M42 lenses to Canon EOS mount cameras for $49.95, and has the Canon 30 among those cameras with which the adapters are compatible. You might look at that site. I am totally unfamiliar with the Canon line, so there might be something I am missing. The only problem I have had with my Fotodiox adapter was that the set screws that hold the two halves together needed to be tightened more securely, using a jeweler's screwdriver.
