An interesting twist that you've used it for more DoF in a close up rather than front to back DoF. Good lateral thinking. But if you are going to the trouble of combining, could you not more simply just select your flower in the higher DoF shot and blur the rest? Easy. Or maybe you were just experimenting, I guess. The f18 shot gave me the flower sharp, but the background was way too sharp with f5 the background gave me the look I wanted. I combined them in PS and made a layer mask to being out the parts I wanted. -- Harrison McClary Harrison McClary Photography harrison@mcclary.net http://www.mcclary.net ImageStockSouth - Stock Photography http://www.imagestocksouth.com Tobacco Road: Personal Blog: http://www.mcclary.net/blog _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
