Thanks Tina.. that was the first time I have heard about this Pro support
level.  It explains a lot about repair turn around stories told here that
seem unbelievable compared to others' stories.

And it is another reason that if you are a Pro, using Leica is a good deal.
Loaner bodies and lenses, etc. is a really good deal for rare assignment
that needs a lens or body you do not have, but need to use..
(Yes, I know that Canon and Nikon does it too.)

I'm a member of  Leica Professional Services.  Any pro can join.  You 
just have to send in tear sheets every year to show that you are a 
pro using Leicas.  As a part of that membership, Leica provides 
expedited cleaning and repair and loans on cameras and lenses and 
opportunities to speak at Leica events.
