Yama, I'm sure that you won't regret it, once you've paid for it. Rightly or
wrongly, the 4th version is the most desired and expensive of the pre-asph
lenses ( for its mystical bo-keh properties). I'd not stress any more, just
locate an example of any model with clean glass and in your price range and
grab it. They will all make pictures of wonderful quality that will
challenge your skills.

I guess I've made up my mind to save up some more and start talking business
then. I was looking into the summarit line, but it doesn't seem like people
will be selling those for quite some while ;) I just had a feeling that my
main lens should be a leica (mostly for the value-retention) in case I do
ever decide to sell.
