In my opinion is very difficult, and impossible that the Jury opinions be the same as the individual ones, and finally the results are consequence of the votes. The George Lottermorser picture produces on me a great emotion too, is a very good one, and is really nice the Jayanand, Walt did a great job!, and the general level of this contest was really high. Finally, thanks for your personal rate too "Au bon vieux temps", the caption should be in french because I shot in on the Sunday ball (Le bal du dimanche) on a Montmartre local that it exists any more (La Boh?me du Tertre). I liked very much too your picture and it is quite difficult for me do an objective rating beeing personnally involved, what I like is see so many nice pictures of my friends, together. For me http://contest.leica-users.org/main.php/v/0712/McfR-1_5.jpg.html has a Diane Arbus tinge to it that made me like it at once, together with http://contest.leica-users.org/main.php/v/0712/caregiver.jpg.html I rate them both as wonderful documentary photographs IMHO.
