As of yesterday, Horn Pond had an additional 50+ feet of shoreline in some places. I haven't been over there today, but think that there's less shoreline because we had a lot of rain last night. The forecast is for more of the same, off and on all week. I lived in East Tennessee thirty years ago when I was teaching at ETSU in Johnson City. I remember it as being fairly lush, especially in foothills. Jim Jim Nichols wrote: > Jim, > > That is a beautiful sight to those of us down here suffering through the > worst drouth in years.
