Exactly. Depends on the performers and what shape the conductor's head
is in.
For the german Requiem, some prefer Von Karajan's interpretation.
For me, Solti conducting the the Chicago Symphony and Chorus with Kiri
and Bernd Weikl (London 414-627-2) is my All Time Favorite.
