Thanks Leonanrd,
The place is nice - we were lucky to be there on that (k)night - it was 
my first experiment with very high ISOs in the street. Not so convincing 
when you get higher than 400 I'm afraid.
But if you have time, go back and look at the exposure of the BW 
spitfireman - remember the L1 is a reflex camera ...
