Don't know why, probably just got out of bed on the wrong side. ;-) Yes the M8 is a great camera, I have one and love it myself. I read the article some months ago, and it does indeed give a good report on it. But then since it was given to him to use there is always the thought of just how much sugar coating he did. However, since I have had mine I have been very satisfied with my purchase and no problems what so ever, and the firmware upgrades have indeed fixed many early bugs. Don't know if it will prove to be a solid working tool, or a rich man's toy either. However the evidence so far does indeed point to the M8 being a real working tool. I know of at least one guy out there who is using it for wedding photography full time, I'm sure there are PJ's out there using it also. Certainly Tina, Ted and others here on the LUGare good examples of pro's using them regularly. Leica's next hurdle to get over, is to get caught up with demand on the M8 and lenses. They seem to have really been caught off guard in this respect, and it has hurt them in the customer service department. Maybe they should rehire some or all of the people they laid off a few years ago. They need to do this and be ready to handle demand increases better, Before the next camera (R-10?) intro so this kind of thing does not happen again.
