hi Luis...

thank you for looking...

here I am using a 4 GB card... I usually shoot RAW for the reason you give,
and I can get almost 400 images on this card...not bad as its 10 rolls of
film..

but if I am shooting bw only for less critical uses, I can use jpeg fine and
select bw mode  only...which will allow me to store (as I
recall) about a thousand images on the same size card..


The bw jpeg fine mode gives me excellent quality files, and while not the
best obtainable, certainly more than adequate... better than most scanning
of negatives... except for drum scanning.


I will send you soon a couple of files from this morning, to take a look
at...
