The M8 files win at all speeds from 160 (the M8's lowest) through 640. The only films that can compete are the slow to moderate speed transparency films - and for me those films have always been a PIA to print - trying every conceivable way from 4x5 inter-negatives with masks, etc. Cibachromes were wonderful - but I don't even know if they're available anymore.
