That's a pretty good "grade". Fuji 400 and 800 films are (were, for my 
part) really top quality films. I was always amazed by their 800 film. 
The only reason I needed to use 400 was to get a more workable 
aperture/shutter combination. I could rarely see a difference in the 
quality of the prints that could be attributed to the films.

I don't know if the M8 is better, since I don't have one, but Sonny has 
shot a lot of Fuji so I'd trust him.

I figure it must be. Even my D100 (a few years back) was as good if not 
better than the same films. The M8 has a few years of digital experience 
to build on.

For me, it's a no brainer when it comes to color. I'll never buy another 
roll of color film. Too much work to get inferior results.
