I used to use a Jobo tank and then I got an Epson P2000.  Now I use a 
laptop.  Laptops are getting smaller, faster, with more storage and 
you can actually work on them.  My little Dell XPS M1210 is very 
small.  I carry it in a photo/computer backpack where it sits 
cushioned in its own little almost invisible slot.  It's so much more 
usable than just a storage device.  I also carry a tiny Seagate 
external hard drive that hold 160GB.

That might be another consideration if you are thinking of the 
storage devices for travel.
