Since I find a consistent(?) tilt to mine also, I must think that  
there is some imperfection in viewfinders.

Of course, we should maybe be using clockwise and counterclockwise  
(right and left tilt being a bit ambiguous) to better understand

surely our viewfinders can be no less than perfect
