Subject: [Leica] Cheap M8 Batteries Going Bad?

I think if I ever bought a camera which cost 5000 bucks and I've never spent
any where near half that (more like a third that has been my ultra high end)
and I've been a photographer for plus 30 years (whose done half my work with
Hasselblads) (Leicas Nikons Rolleiflex) and that camera had a reputation for
electrical quirks which the M8 certainly does or even if it didn't the last
thing I'd ever so is buy a bunch of cheap knock off batteries from some guy
off of eBay in Hong Kong.
I'd shell out the big bucks for two backups with red dots on them and breath
easy knowing that if one of them didn't take a charge I'd take the train to
New Jersey and put it on the head of Leicas desk.

Or at least the receptionist.

Maybe the loading dock guy could get it to work.

200 bucks vs. 5000.
