Two days ago, a fellow was shot to death in his car just one block down the street from me. At about the same time, his brother was shot to death 8 miles away in Mid-City. Between the two of them, they had been arrested for 16 murders in New Orleans. And our moron of a D.A. refused to charge them for any of the sixteen murders. Last weekend, there were 11 shootings in the city. I'm not expecting the police *or* the D.A. to do anything for my safety. It must be nice to be cloaked in a bubble in invincibility.
