Perhaps a new version could be on its way ;-) -- Let's start a rumor  
--  24-35mm  Tri-Elmar, or perhaps a 24-50mm f/2.8 Quad-Elmarit,  
focusing to .7m.!  I always wondered why they left that 24mm gap  
between the two Tri-Elmars.  It also ends the confusion as to which  
Tri-Elmar you are referring.
