This is the first time I've played with a low light image since I loaded it.<<<<<<< No noise controls added. Leica M8 35mm Summicron f2 @ 1/15th iso 1250 firmware vers.1.107 http://www.sonc.com/kathy_john.htm<<<<<<<<<< Hi Sonny, Given the high ASA I don't have any problem with the look of this available darkness result. One would be hard pressed to get it as good, if this good, with film pushed 2 or 3 stops under similar light conditions. All I have to do now is figure out how to upgrade this firmware thing. :-) At the moment I have: A/ Cord to connect camera and computer and figure out which end goes into where. OK so I figured that part out. B/ Where to find the firm ware and how to get it out of the computer into the camera and how does it know where to go? And if I click the wrong thing to click will I create the first in hand M8 meltdown to a smoking ruin? Just look at it this way if the engineers say that's impossible, immediately assume I'd be the one to do something they've said is impossible. Taking pictures I know. ;-) Messing with stuff like this is a complete disaster waiting to happen! C/ I know read the manual. :-) I am I am! Maybe I should get my grandson over here to do it, be much safer. ;-) But your photograph say's it all in a way the M cameras were made for. "if you can see it... You can shoot it!" Just have to get this upgraded and have a go at knight light picture taking. :-) ted
