If you're really going to use screw-mount Takumar lenses such as the 50/f4 then you'll need an adapter. DON'T GET ANYTHING but the adapter manufactured by Pentax. You can occasionally find them on ebay but you can also order them directly from Pentax. <http://www.pentaximaging.com/products/product_details/camera_lens--Mount_Adapter_B/reqID--3108/subsection--Digital_35mm_converters_adapters> or: http://tinyurl.com/dj4ms ALL of the third-party adapters are difficult to remove from the camera, and some don't focus to infinity.
