The timber too, though has wonderful tones. Cheers Hoppy -----Original Message----- Subject: [Leica] Mill revisited Hi All, Took an early morning trip last weekend to one of my favorite spots around my neck of the woods. Glade creek mill as you may know from one of my previous posts is located about 1 1/2 hours east of Charleston, WV in Babcock State Park. It looks old because it is. But it has only been on this site since 1976. It actually is a composite from 3 different mills brought to the park and assembled at the location of a no longer existing mill. The mill is operational and is open every day of the week grinding flour for all to see. Last weekend as luck would have it the mill was down because of low water. I have a few digital shots of the interior that I will post later. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/smilingjack/Jack+Maddox/mill+from+opposite+bank.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/35ek3d http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/smilingjack/Jack+Maddox/mill+water+sluice.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/3ckmgh http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/smilingjack/Jack+Maddox/rock+ledge+and+mill.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/334xhv comments and critiques are always welcomed Jack _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
