[Leica] Kiev RF Cameras: was, WHO IS THAT OLD GUY?

I too was trained on a Contax II and IIA.  Great cameras.

I had the Panflex, Flektoskop, and Flektometer.  All were reflex housings
for 115 ( Panflex), 180 Sonnar, 300 and 500mm Fern lenses.
The weight, composition, and overall hand holdability of these lenses was
far and away superior to the Leica....Not close to the same league.....

Hand hold a 500mm lens on the Flektometer and you are considered a MAN.  It
must have weighed 15 pounds.

I got rid of my Contax as user cameras, went Miranda SLR, then Canon, and
finally Nikon.  Then I saw the light, and got me an M.   Never looked
back........
