I also especially like the first of the new pics of Ewa. The lighter tones are flattering. I guess that the football events will be crying out for a good compact DSLR? Cheers Hoppy -----Original Message----- Subject: [Leica] IMG: PAW 28 dlridings I'm a little early this week and will definitely be a bit late next. In about 1 hour I leave to work as a host at a school that will house 28 soccer teams (all 18 or younger) with coaches and parents (not that many parents) and local boys and girls looking for cute new friends. The teams live at the school all week and my wife and I are in charge of their comfort (and police reports, etc). We don't usually get to leave the school for about 7 or 8 days except for a breather down to a field now and then. Sometimes the kids (ours) call and wonder when we'll be home ... and shop for food. During this present week Ewa, her brother, sister-in-law and I tracked down some old "homesteads" (torp) deep out in the forests of V?rmland (think Selma Lagerl?f) where her family came from. Klara, her great grandmother, was born here back in the 1860's. We are talking about out in the woods, the sticks ... It was interesting to imagine Klara using these steps. The barn is from the 1700's if not even earlier (you can tell by the building techniques). http://www.dlridings.se/paw/2007/28.html (Rolleicord V, Fomapan 400 in Xtol 1:1). There are more in the shoebox: http://www.dlridings.se/gallery/v/Shoebox/2007v28/ Be well! Daniel _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
