The tilting LCD screen comes to mind as the most useful of those extra features. Even the Zuiko lens is said in almost every test to outperform the Vario- Elmar lens. And the Olympus kit is wildly less expensive (at least here: $1200 versus $2600 or $1900 with the -700 rebate).
