Subject: [Leica] M8 trials and tribulations?

Many mechanical SLRs had a little prism to view the actual aperture  
dial through the viewfinder. This could not work on a Leica (or  
Olympus OM) since the aperture rings are at the front of the lenses  
and therefore not all in the same place relative to the optics :-(.
