Have you looked at the suggested way to use the WA TE in the download 
document "Using M8 + Tri-Elmar-M 4_16-18-21 + UVIR filter_en.pdf"?

If the use of filters in general sounds like a kludge, this suggested 
methodology requires the invention of a new word.

Can't say I'm impressed.
