I think this is an uncommon model, the Visoflex V. It seems to be designed for stereo images. http://tinyurl.com/2794m8 Can anyone with the Visoflex III please tell me if it is normal for the tripod mounting hole to create an opening into the body of the unit? My example has the hole for the thread open completely as though stray light would spill in there if the unit was not tripod mounted.
