Frank,

I have no experience from the standpoint of racing, but did own a couple of 
1969-70 Datsun 510s which were front engine-rear swing axle configs, and my 
son had a Spitfire.  I always liked the handling of the 510.  The Spitfire 
was such an a** bruiser that I never really put it to the test.
