Leave the Leicavit home if it's likely to be a worry Carry your camera and two lenses as cabin baggage Don't take film with you. I'm sure that someone can point you to a good film outlet near your chosen venue Likewise get a recommendation for a good lab there and get it all processed before you go home (or you could send home to yourself?) Chuck your F30 in for when you have the MP secured and you're maybe heading out without photography in mind. Easy When you come back, make sure you share your pictures with us. I'll bet you won't regret taking your Leica. That's what they're for ;-) Cheers Hoppy -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Rei Shinozuka Sent: Wednesday, 28 March 2007 16:02 To: Leica Users Group (LUG) Subject: [Leica] bring a leica to disneyworld? i've been a member of the lug since 2001. i need my support group. i'm very disturbed that we are going to disneyworld and i am seriously considering not bringing any leica at all but taking just my point and shoot digital fuji f30. i usually take at least an mp and noctilux on vaca but i'm just worried about film, xrays, bringing camera on the plane, leicavit misperceived as weapon etc. please help to convince me of the virtues of bringing the leica thank you, most kindly -rei -- Rei Shinozuka shino@panix.com Ridgewood, New Jersey _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
