Brian,
I suspect that the issue is that the Nocti has real issues focusing light
from 600nm up in the same place as light down from 600. Before you send
your camera off, get a hot filter and try that. I believe that you will
fall in love with your Nocti again once it is focusing the light in the same
place.

Now, if you indeed need to send your camera off, pay Don Goldberg or Sherri
to adjust the cam on the Noct to your M8. Not too expensive and either one
can probably get it done in a week or so if you explain your needs. If
either one gives you any trouble, their are probably hundreds of their best
customers on the LUG or in LHSA who will come to your aid.
