[Leica] Leica USA service/repair DoF questions

My problem is much simpler than this.
I have two M bodies (M6 and M8)
and three M lenses (Noctilux, 24/2.8 Elmarit, and 35/1.4 Summilux)

There are six possible combinations of camera and lens -- I can put the 
Noctilux on the M6 or the M8, I can put the 24 on the M6 or the M8, etc.

Everything works fine except that when I put the Noctilux on the M8, it 
doesn't focus properly. It works fine on the M6. The other two lenses work 
fine on both M6 and M8.

The mis-focus of the Noctilux on the M8 is bad enough that I've stopped 
using it, which is a pity. So I thought that I'd look into repairs.

The first problem is figuring out what needs to be repaired. From the data 
above, it would seem as though the problem lies with the Noctilux, except 
that it works fine on the M6. Tina Manley reported that when she had this 
problem, she had to send in both her M8 body and her Noctilux.

Leica Camera is criminally slow on repairs. They don't seem to be able to do 
/anything/ in less than 6 weeks, and 2 months seems more typical. And God 
save you if they have to send something back to Solms: they probably use a 
3-mast sailboat to get it there and a rowboat to bring it back.

So I was looking to find somebody in Leica Camera that I could talk to about 
how to fix this problem, in the hopes that I wouldn't have to send in the M8 
body along with the Noctilux to get this problem fixed. I don't want to be 
without my M8 for 2 months. Since I'm not using the Noctilux (on account of 
its focus problems) I don't mind waiting while it's shipped to Solms by 
sailboat.
