The mirror reset lever works perfectly and the first movement of the operating arm trips the mirror up function. I can do this if the operating arm is engaged when 180 degrees out of position (ie pointing straight forward instead of swung over to rest on the shutter release. It also works in the normal position when the Visoflex II is off the camera. The trouble is that, after fitting the Visoflex II to the camera with the arm disengaged from its detent, it will not rotate downwards far enough to operate the mirror. There is a central screw which the arm pivots around, but I don't know if has any adjustment. The arm has two detent positions, one with the arm swung over and one with it facing forward. Does that make sense? From your mail I think you're saying the mirror doesn't flip out of the way totally so you can trip the shutter. Is this correct? The front lever is pushed down manually to put the mirror in viewing position. Does this work OK? Then the shutter release lever is pressed and the mirror moves up out of the way and then the shutter is tripped depending on the screw adjustment. It almost seems like something isn't working right because the only reason to use the Viso III prism on the Viso II is to work on the M7. Len
