Very cool, Tina. There must be quite a tradition of the female household 
spending an inordinate amount of time on the weaving and
intricate embroidery. As an aside, those pants would fit right in on an 
Aussie beach.

More and more men are wearing jeans because they are cheaper but some 
of the traditional Tzutujil men still wear these handwoven and 
embroidered pants every day.
