Subject: [Leica] binoculars - looking for assistance

Take a look at Soligor for very reasonably priced , light , and 
excellent quality binoculars - If you are thinking of going 
qualitatively up-market, take a look at Docter, Swarovski and  Optolyth 
as well as Leica and Zeiss.
