Years ago, I used to shoot artist portfolios. I initially used an M3 with a DR 'cron. Later on, to mollify client apprehensions about using such old equipment, I started using a Nikon with a 55mm micro Nikkor. It didn't even come close to the color fidelity and sharpness of the DR.
